I've created 2 UT pickup models (1 armor mesh and 1 boot mesh) in both 3ds max and milkshape.
1 I imported from Q3 and 1 I made from scratch. Normaly I use UVMapper Pro to make a drawingframe for the textures, so I can easily fill them in with photoshop. Now the thing is, the model I created from scratch I somehow can't give a texture, like I can with the model I imported, or any other simple models I've tried to create in the past. Does anyone have a clue perhaps on how to fix this? (First I thought it would be the pickup code, but that 1 I'm 100% sure it's ok, so now I'm guessing it would be the mesh itself.) Edit: 2 screenshots to explain: regular pickup: [/url:e8b08] created from scratch: [/url:e8b08] (click the pictures to enlarge)
