well 3d works by having 2 offset images further apart for closer objects. They then put filters on your eyes so each eye can only see 1 of the images. Your brain then thinks you have blurred vision and adjusts to compensate and you get 3d, crazy. Since i'm colourblind my eyes don't filter the images properly so i just get a fuzzy picture on screen.
